Yep, thanks to the Radio Times, it has now been confirmed that both University Challenge and Only Connect will be back for their new series on Monday 13th July.
I will, of course, be reviewing UC every week, as per usual. I will decide nearer the time whether to do the same for OC as well.
UPDATE 03/07: first UC match will be between Glasgow and Peterhouse Cambridge.
I suspected that UC would be back that Monday - but I'm slightly surprised that OC is back as well, after its September start last year. It'll be great to see both of them back, though.
ReplyDeleteI hope to be more regular with my commentary this year than last, although I will probably miss the first week of the series because of a holiday. Here's to some terrific matches ahead.
I agree that it is surprising to see OC back so early, but given that VCM must have been in the late stages of pregnancy when it was filmed, they probably would've wanted to get it over with quickly.
